Complex Case Review
Extended review of cases where the clinical, pathological and molecular picture do not straightforwardly agree.
- Clinicians with a case that resists a clear formulation.
- Patients with a long, complicated disease course and a large documentary record.
- The complete record, including apparent inconsistencies within it
- Points at which the diagnosis or classification was revised
- All available molecular data
- A structured reconstruction of the case
- Identification of unresolved questions and what might resolve them
- A molecular and evidentiary reading of the current position
- Analysis and interpretation are provided to you and, where you wish, directly to your treating team — who continue to prescribe, administer and direct your treatment.
- The work sits alongside your treating oncologist and is designed to strengthen that relationship rather than sit outside it.
- It is built for considered review. Anything acute or time-critical belongs with your treating team or your local emergency service, who can act immediately.
- It sets out what the evidence supports and where it remains uncertain. It does not forecast how a particular cancer will respond.
Getting started
Nothing is charged for an enquiry, and scope is agreed in writing before any work starts.
Enquiries begin with a short message describing the situation and the question. From there, the documentation needed is agreed, and a scope and timeline are confirmed before any work starts.
The document checklist sets out what is typically needed. Missing items are worth identifying at the outset rather than mid-review.
