This website sets no cookies of any kind — no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies. There is therefore no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Local storage

Two features use your browser's local storage rather than cookies. The document checklist remembers which items you have ticked, so you can return to it later.

Local storage differs from a cookie in an important respect: it is never transmitted with requests to any server. The data stays in your browser and is readable only by this site, in that browser, on that device. It is not visible to this website's operator and is not shared with anyone.

You can clear it using the reset control on the checklist page, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. In private browsing, or where a browser blocks site data, these features simply start empty each time — nothing else breaks.

Third-party requests

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. This sets no cookie, but the request itself is visible to Google. Blocking it leaves the site fully readable in fallback typefaces.

No other third-party resources are loaded. There are no embedded trackers, advertising networks, social media widgets or session recorders on this site.

Why

The enquiry routes on this site concern cancer diagnoses and medical documentation. Routing any part of that through third-party measurement infrastructure would be inappropriate, so it is not done.
